Biography

Residing in Bloomington, Minnesota, Robyn Brower is an artist working with two and three dimensional media. She studied furniture design when earning her BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and has continued making art with wood and metal fabrication and also with painting and drawing. In addition to her fine art endeavors, she was trained as a floral designer and participated in the Art in Bloom shows at the Minneapolis Institute of Art on two different years. Her sculptures and chalk pastel drawings reflect an inspiration from the natural world and her background as a floral designer. Her art was selected by the city of Bloomington to be among designs purposed to cover the city’s utility boxes.  She has recently created a collection of chalk pastel drawings that were shown at the Oxboro Public Library.
